U. S. Army of the Dead has many mysteries, from robot zombies to prison term loops to UFOs. There's another that's got citizenry scratching their heads, though: What happened to Geeta?

Ella Purnell's Kate Ward only ventured into the undead-overrun Las Vegas to rescue her friend Geeta (Huma Qureshi), who had two children living with her in the quarantine campy and had enlisted the Brush wolf, AKA Lilly (Nora Arnezeder), to get her and ii friends into the city to grab some much-needful cash. It turns stunned Alpha zombie Zeus (Richard Cetrone) had Geeta and the past women captive inside his lair, presumably to eventually recruit them into his ranks. Kate breaks from the group to deliver her, and though the other women don't make up it, Geeta ends aweigh in the helicopter with Kate, George C. Scott (Dave Bautista), and Peters (Tig Notaro).

Of course, it's non that easily resolved. Zeus besides gets into the whirlybird, and a fight ensues above Vegas as the crew attempt to outrun the nuclear bomb headed their way. The blast ends improving delivery the whirlybird downward, and only Kate emerges unscathed from the wreckage. We encounter Peters died in the doss, while Scott survived – but was bitten by Genus Zeus. Geeta's fate is left to the imagination, however.

What happened to Geeta?

We don't see Geeta in the least after the ram, but it's intemperately implied she didn't make it. Geeta was sat adjacent to Peters in the helicopter, and it's that side that come to the found – and we see Peters is dead. We don't see Geeta's body, but Kate is distraught as she looks wrong the chopper cockpit, suggesting she mightiness have seen the body. Advantageous, Robert Scott gives her Johnny Cash to get Geeta's children out of the quarantine camp as He dies, which suggests Geeta isn't around any longer to make love herself.

Screen Rant suggest that the reason we don't see more than of Geeta in the chopper could make up because Notaro was digitally added to the motion-picture show after information technology was completed, replacement disgraced comedian Chris D'Elia – the only role playe Notaro actually worked with in reshoots was Ana de Louisiana Reguera, World Health Organization plays Maria Cruz. It power just have been too complicated to replace Notaro in the agitated eggbeater scenes (though that's just venture).

Another possibility is that Geeta isn't actually stillborn. Snyder has already hinted another eccentric may have survived the undead carnage, saying of Matthias Schweighöfer's Dieter: "We father't see him pall, that's true. That's fair." He added: "You would say in a repugnance movie if we put on't see you die, by the rules of repugnance..."

Geeta power have survived after all, and then – or, like Den of Geek suggests, she could've been bitten by Genus Zeus and turned into an Alpha living dead earlier the crash, or even indorse in Vegas.

Whatever Crataegus oxycantha have happened to Geeta, that seems a enquiry to be answered in a potential Army of the Dead 2. In the meantime, U. S. Army of the Dead is currently streaming on Netflix, and a prequel focusing connected Dieter, titled Army of Thieves, is arriving this year. An animated prequel series named Army of the Dead: Mazed Vegas is also en route.
